There’s nothing better to read than Bukowski’s poetry while you are bored in your office drinking some beers.

I can feel exactly like Henry Chinaski.

This man is drunk, or working to get the money to buy alcohol. Sometimes, both of them.

A prolific author, Bukowski wrote thousands of poems, hundreds of short stories, and six novels, eventually having 110 books in print.

Here are some of my favorite Bukowski quotes:

• “The problem with these people is that their cities have never been bombed and their mothers were never told to shut the fuck up”
• “Some people never go crazy, what truly horrible lives they must lead”
